Breathe in,
stretch out,
yoga on
campus.
Prana is a student-run association for yoga, movement and wellbeing at the University of Twente. We host open, accessible sessions for students of every level.
A student association, not a studio.
Prana is a student-run space for yoga, movement, and everyday wellbeing at the University of Twente. We organise accessible sessions on campus — open to every faculty, every level, every body.
No memberships in a glossy studio. No spiritual gatekeeping. Just a steady, friendly place to step away from your laptop, move a little, and breathe.
“Strong enough to hold a posture, soft enough to hold a conversation after.”
Our working idea of yoga
A small, honest set of things.
We'd rather do a few things well than promise the world. Everything is built around the rhythm of a student week.
- 01
Yoga sessions
Weekly drop-in classes covering breath, posture and steady, accessible flows.
- 02
Mobility & stretching
Practical sessions to undo desk-shaped backs and stiff hips between lectures.
- 03
Meditation & relaxation
Short guided sits and breathwork to settle the nervous system before exams.
- 04
Wellbeing workshops
Occasional workshops on sleep, focus, journaling and student mental health.
- 05
Community activities
Walks, shared meals and informal meet-ups — no performance, no pressure.
A quieter side of student life.
University is intense. Prana exists to make caring for yourself simple, social, and part of your week.
A calmer rhythm
A grounded counterweight to deadlines, screens, and the louder side of student life.
Built for students
Short sessions, fair pricing, on campus — designed around your week, not a studio's.
Open to beginners
No flexibility, gear or experience required. Curiosity is enough to start.
A real community
An alternative to drinking culture: meet people through movement and shared time.
First sessions starting soon.
The schedule is being finalised with the university.
